Although it probably looks very considered, my work is quite the opposite. It is made almost completely intuitive. Once I start, I try not to think. The choice of colours and shapes are made in split second and I don’t doubt them.
It’s an experiment and study in colour, shape and space.
The outcome is what it is, no explanation of concepts needed.
Portraits come in many different shapes and techniques, mine are abstract and in pastel. In colour and shape. I will invite you for a colour session to get to know you a little. We’ll search for colours you gravitate towards and fill out a small questionnaire on characteristics of yourself.
